Alpha Company:

Alpha Company is open for almost any serious airsoft player who wants to join an effective team.

What sets Alpha company apart from the typical airsoft player (note: no offence intended to typical airsoft players).

  • Commandos in Alpha Company dress differently. They do not come to events in shorts with a white T-Shirt and orange hat. They wear camouflage and/or earth-toned colors both to create team unity, and for the obvious reason that it camouflages you.
  • Wolverines in Alpha Company do not use extremely cheap weapons or equipment. While they may not be blowing hundreds on a gun, they use weapons which give them decent killing ability.
  • The members of Alpha Company work to gather as a team and follow orders to the letter. This is the great advantage of Alpha Company over typical airsofters. Most casual players do not work together as a team and certainly do not follow orders from a superior officer. The Wolverine Commandos in Alpha Company follow orders instantly, unquestioningly and thoroughly with deadly precision. In times of strategizing and planning they may request permission to speak and (if granted) voice their opinion/concern, but ultimately they do as told.
  • Simply put, Alpha company is more professional, more disciplined, more organized and more deadly than the average airsoft player.

Why should you join?

Learning. Growth. Victory. Alpha Commandos are not about personal glory, but team success. Individuals do not win, the team does; much is learned on the personal and group level to get to this point. Alpha Commandos grow in their airsofting skills and tactics via training/drills. As a highly disciplined team, Alpha Commandos win.

This is the necessary stepping-stone toward joining the more elite Beta and Delta units. If you wish to join these units you must first demonstrate and grow your ability to work as a team—not to be a loner seeking personal thrill/glory. Here you must also demonstrate your ability to master and employ basic tactics and skill. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, here you build trust with your officers by tenacious obedience and excellence.

Alpha Company is where it starts!

Requirements for Fire Team Leaders in Alpha Company

All requirements from Alpha Company are still retained (listed below)

 Extra requirements:

-FRS Radio

-Frequent attendance of wolverine commandos events

Role defined:

A Fire Team Leader is in charge of a Fire Team—typically four individuals. As Team Leader it is your responsibility to do three basic things. First, implement the orders of your commanding officer. Second, keep your men organized and alive. Third, succeed in your team-wide mission.

Team leaders play a vital role in the battle field. They are right there on the front lines, in the thick of the fight. They have to make split decisions with limited intel. They are the last link between the commander's vision and reality. As such a Team Leader must be someone commanders can trust and respect. Likewise a Team Leader must be someone who sets the example for the rest of his team—someone his fellow Commandos look up to.

A Team Leader might be a Beta Platoon member, but he also might not. You do not have to meet the requirements of Beta Platoon in order to be a Fire Team Leader. You must simply demonstrate wise effective leadership, a cool cunning mind and dedication to the mission and team.
